OUR VISION

We continue to pray that God will grant us many years to feast on His righteousness, as we look forward to celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2021.

WHAT WE DO

We begin every service by confessing our sins and hearing Christ's word of absolution. We sing of God's mercy in our hymns, and we listen to preaching that covers us in the love of Christ.

OUR COMMUNITY

A congregation of the ELS.

OUR PASTOR

Pastor Sean Scheele was born in Upland, California in 1985. His family moved to Michigan when he was only one year old. For much of his life, he grew up in Michigan until the 7th grade when they moved again, this time to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He graduated High School in Arizona and went to college in Southern California at California Baptist University, where he studied theology. After college, he served as an intern at a church doing college ministry. During this time, he decided he wanted to go overseas and be a part of a missionary team that was going to the Middle East. In 2010-11, he was living in the Middle East, teaching ESL and serving as a missionary.

Shortly after, he decided to pursue further education and attended Phoenix Seminary in Arizona.

While studying for his Master of Divinity, he gradually became convinced of Lutheran theology. He then came across Redeemer Lutheran Church in Scottsdale, AZ, where Pastor Webber took him in and further taught him Lutheran doctrine. Under his guidance, he continued his education at Phoenix Seminary. He graduated with an M.A. in Religious Studies and moved to Mankato to work on his Master of Divinity at Bethany. He graduated Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary in May of 2020. Pastor Scheele says it has been a long journey, but the Lord has provided the whole way and has been very gracious to him and his family.

Pastor Scheele is married to Shaylene and they have six children, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Luke, Lydia, Karris and Matthew.
